Bump! - WGCL - Post Production
A 3 minute sample of what happens behind the scenes when producing station imaging. This, I recorded in 1985 when I was parked at 98.5 WGCL, Cleveland. With analog, I'm twisting the knobs and giving the reel to reel a real workout. Listen closely and you'll hear the legal ID from the late Lee Gillette, a truly great voice talent that was highly respected.

I listened to an mp3 where you have a “Lee Gillette” doing the legal ID.
I worked with a Lee Gillette in Orlando in 94-95. He was a smaller guy with a big voice, I believe he was from Texas originally, but not sure. He was a disc jockey in his earlier career. I was looking for him and came across your page, the guy you referenced died in August of 01, I thought I saw the guy I knew in 01 in Orlando.
Sorry to bother you with this, does my Lee Gillette sound like yours?
He also was an engineer for voice overs, that is how I knew him.
