Bump! - Thompson's Clam Bar Jingle

Some jingles are very effective, Cape Codders just can't get this 60 second ditty out of their heads, even though Thompson's Clam Bar has been closed for years.

Hey, where you goin'?
I'm going to Thompson's Clam Bar
'cuz that's where the tastiest clams are.
Is the seafood good?
The best - by far!
Let's go...to Thompson's Clam Bar

Oh. My. God.

I just blogged the lyrics, remembered from all those summers of it being drilled in my head, just a few weeks ago.

How. Bizzare!

Every six months or so I google Thompsons Clam Bar to try and get a recording of it. So here it is Christmas Eve and I find this -- cool! BUT I want the OTHER version too:

Where are we?
By the great big beautiful sea
At Thompson's, yes siree...

That one. Anyone have a copy of that?
PLEASE. I have a band and want to cover all the Thompsons Clam Bar songs.

Thanks!! I've also been looking for this for more than two years. Do you by any chance know how to contact anyone about licensing the song for use in an independent film? (I know the Clam Bar's been gone for years now.)

Also: any chance you can dig up the old "Sail away from Falmouth" Island Queen jingle?

I actually sang on the Island Queen jingle... Here goes...

The Island Queen jingle
circa - late 1960's/early 1970's, but still heard on Martha's Vineyard
radio as of a couple of years ago (2004). May still be running this
summer.
Written by Dave (?) Whiting, Produced by Hal Appleton of Appleton Associates
Recorded in Hal's basement of his home in Needham Ma...

"Sail away from Falmouth, sail away on the Island Queen
Get it on at Falmouth, sail away on the Island Queen

And it's a mini cruise, a water trip
Every 90 minutes on a swinging ship
And if city life has been treating you mean
Go to Martha's Vineyard on the Island Queen

Sail away from Falmouth, sail away on the Island Queen"

(then Hal would do his voice over, over the jingle instrumental in the
background and when he was finished, the musical tag came back in)...

"Sail away from Falmouth, Sail away from Falmouth, Sail away from
Falmouth, Sail away from Falmouth, Sail away from Falmouth"

Happy Sailing,

Chris

I justed googled it too! I remeber this from summers on the cape as a kid; it just popped into my head. The jingle must be almost twenty years old now!
